Construction of our future NAFTA Headquarter has officially commenced with the anticipated Groundbreaking Ceremony, which took place success of our highly on November 8th. The event attracted a great deal of public attention from the community, with roughly 75 to 80 guests in attendance. Guests included local and state dignitaries, residents, and many members of the SWJ Team.
SWJ TECHNOLOGY was featured in numerous news publications as a result, including The Tuscaloosa News, The Gadsden Times, and The Crimson White.
We were also very honored to have the opportunity to hear from our ceremony speakers, SWJ Founding Partner & Board Member, Markus Jurditsch, Managing Member, Stefan Hartmann, and our President & CEO, Dr. Wolfgang Kneer. Thank you all for your wise words of encouragement. To add to the positivity, the Tuscaloosa City Council recently approved up to $250,000 in economic incentives to foster the development of SWJ’s new Technology Center.
Tuscaloosa was very fond of SWJ’s commitmemt to build Alberta. City Councilman Kip Tyner said the process was filled with emotional highs and lows, and it ended with him finally receiving an email from Dr. Kneer notifying him that SWJ TECHNOLOGY had selected Tuscaloosa.
The new site is located on 2730 University Blvd. E, and provides expansion opportunity forup to 35,000 sq. ft of office space and workshops.
